Present from Sulky
A fabulous box of Sulky goodies arrived at my door recenlty. Joyce Drexler of Sulky America asked me to submit a project for her latest techniques book. I sent in this landscape called Autumn Oak which is from my second book, Points of View: Small Quilts to Stitch and Embellish. I used FabriSolvy to make the leaves for the tree. It's a water soluble stabilizer, but firm enough to stitch with out a hoop – I don't like machine stitching with a hoop…or hand stitching with a hoop either, for that matter.
As a thanks for my contribution, Joyce sent me a fabulous box of Sulky goodies. I can't wait to try out some of these great products. Many different stabilizers and also very fine weight thread that flows through the machine like silk.
